Comet Siding Spring (C/2013A1 Siding Spring)

  This is a comet newly discovered at Siding Spring Observatory in Australia on Jan 3, 2014. After the comet was observed with 10th magnitude in July 2014, we could witness the comet approached to the Mars with a distance of only 140 thousand km on Oct 19.

Comet Catalina (C/2013UQ4 Catalina)

  This is a comet newly discovered by the Catalina sky survey in Arizona Univ. on Oct 22, 2013. Although the comet had brightened up to 9th magnitude in beginning of Jul 2014, cannot be observed because of bad weather conditions.

Comet PanSTARRS (C/2012K1 PanSTARRS)

  This is a comet newly discovered by PanSTARRS-1 telescope in Maui, Hawaii on May 19, 2012 with a brightness of 19.7th magnitude. The comet brightened about 6th or 7th magnitude in autumn of 2014.

  This is a newly discovered comet by a Brasilian observer of Mr. Cristovao Jacques on Mar 13, 2014. Tthe comet brightened about 7th magnitude in summer of the year.

Comet ISON (C/2012S1 ISON)

  The comet was discovered on Sep 21, 2012 by two observers in Belarus. The comet closed to the sun on Nov 29, 2013 with 0.01AU in distance, and it was predited that will be a bright naked eye comet in Dec of the year.
But the comet collapsed in its perihelion, fell short our expectation.

  The comet was discovered on Dec 8, 2012 by the automated survey of Lincoln Laboratory Near Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) team. The comet had a sudden outburst in Oct 2013, brightened from 14th to 8th magnitude, can be observed an anomalous shell-like coma.
