The comet 2013R1 Lovejoy in that day has positioned at about 7.5 degrees north of alpha Herculis. I could observe the coma with 6th magnitude in brightness in lower eastern dawn skies. The comet has passed the perihelion on Dec 23, the wide dust and thin ion tails look be piled up. We will be able to observe the comet for a period of time although the best time for observation has ended.
