The comet 2013R1 Lovejoy in that day for my first observation in the year of 2014 has positioned at about 6.5 degrees northeast of alpha Herculis. I could observe the coma with 6th magnitude in brightness in lower eastern dawn skies. The diameter of the coma can be estimated about 5 arc minutes, and the comet has an ion tail with a length of a bit shorter than 3 degrees. The second image can show that the dust tail looks a bit warped.
