Composed 10 shots with 2min. exposed
Optical: VIXEN 20cm(7.9") VISAC with a conversion lens (f=1278mm, F6.4)
with BaaderPlanetarium Moon&Skyglow filter
Auto-guided with TAKAHASHI EM-200 Equatorial
Digital Camera: Canon EOS 600D (Remodeled)
Location: Kujihama, Hitachi city, Ibaraki pref.

Camera Settings: Recording format...14bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(5184×3456)
Sensitivity...ISO3200


The comet 2012S1 ISON in that day has positioned at about 50 arc minutes southeast of beta Vir. in eastern lower dawn skies. As with the comet observed two day ago, the comet has a 8th magnitude coma and a dust tail stretched WNW with a length of about 30 arc minutes. It was fairly good transparency condition, you can recognize clearly an ionized greenish composition surrounding the coma. It looks an apparent size is getting larger and larger gradually because the geocentric distance to the comet is decreasing in this month.
