Optical: VIXEN 20cm(7.9") VISAC with a conversion lens (f=1278mm, F6.4)
with BaaderPlanetarium Moon&Skyglow filter
Auto-guided with TAKAHASHI EM-200 Equatorial
Digital Camera: Canon EOS 600D (Remodeled)
Location: Hiraiso, Hitachi-naka city, Ibaraki pref.

Camera Settings: Recording format...14bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(5184×3456)
Sensitivity...ISO3200


This image shows you the comet 2012X1 LINEAR about 2 months later of my previous obsevation. The comet has positioned in lower eastern dawn skies, around 9 degrees southwest of alpha Herculis. A 9 magnitude coma and a thin dust tail stretched in northwest can be observed. The outer shell composition expanded by its outbust has been almost invisible, but the central nucleus has brightened and activated since Dec 2013.
