The comet 2013R1 Lovejoy in that day has positioned at a degree northwest of beta CVn, a 4th magnitude coma could be detected easily only with naked eyes. Although the night had a glittering moon, clear dust and ionized tails of the comet could be captured stretched toward out of the view field.
