Auto-guided with Meade LX200 Equatorial & Pictor 201XT
Digital Camera: Canon EOS 600D (Remodeled)
Location: Ooizumi, Hokuto city, Yamanashi pref.

Camera Settings: Recording format...14bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(5184×3456)
Sensitivity...ISO3200



The comet Nevski in that day has positioned at only 20 arc minutes west of gamma Leo, Algieba, indicating the neck of Leo. This image has been influenced optical interference of the bright star. The comet has a coma with a visual brightness of 10th magnitude, an indistinct tail-like structure can be detected in west direction.
  The image has been cropped with an equivalent f=1800mm. (View angle: 0.70×0.47°)
