The comet Encke in that day has positioned about a bit closer than 7 degrees northeast of Spica. The elevation of the comet has become fairly low, affected with the haze in lower skies. This image shows that the comet has an ion tail with a length of about 0.4 degrees, but it's not clear whether the comet is acting briskly than that in previous obsevation.
The image has been cropped with an equivalent f=1350mm. (View angle: 0.94×0.63°)
