Location: Hiraiso, Hitachi-naka city, Ibaraki pref.

Camera Settings: Recording format...14bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(5184×3456)
Sensitivity...ISO3200



The comet Pan STARRS in that day has positioned at about 1.5 degrees north of alpha Phoenices in lower dusk south skies. The brightness of coma has about 10th magnitude, hardly recognized the figure due to the hazy condition in lower skies. This image can show you an indistinct tail stretched toward eastern direction.
