with IDAS LPS-P2-FF Light-pollution suppression filter
Auto-guided with TAKAHASHI EM-200 Equatorial
Digital Camera: Canon EOS 600D (Remodeled)
Location: Koumi town, Nagano pref.

Camera Settings: Recording format...14bit CCD-RAW, converted to 16bit TIFF(5184×3456)
Sensitivity...ISO1600


This page shows you the comet 2012F6 Lemmon captured in summer of 2013. The comet has returned to the northern skies after having its maximum brightness of 5th magnitude in southern hemisphere in Mar 2013. In that day the comet can be seen at about 3 degrees west of beta Cephei with a 10th magnitude coma and an ion tail of 50 arc minutes in length stretched in south direction.
We will be able to observe the comet from now on with fairly good condition but the comet will be dimmer and dimmer gradually.
