This image shows you a corner of the Virgo Cluster. These galaxies are members of the "Markarian's chain", a galactic curve started from M84 and M86, the largest one of NGC4438 has a long axis of larger than 8 arc minutes. The NGC4438 has a characteristic figure because the galaxy and a companion of NGC4435 lying just north have the gravitational interaction. But the stretched and warped part is very dimmed; it might be needed fairly larger scopes to observe the figure with our eyes.
