This image shows you a close up of a round diffused nebula in head of Seagull Nebula (IC2177) bathed in the wintry Milky Way of Monoceros. The nebula has a diameter of about 12 arc minutes, and there is a 7th magnitude star in just center of the nebula. You can see a dark lane flowing in east from the star.
