At the low southern skies in spring, we can find out a small edge-on galaxy UGCA168 positioned at the western edge of Antlia. The galaxy has a cigar-typed shape with a length of about 6 arc minutes, larger telescopes have captured an unevolved bulge structure. The galaxy is not subject to observation due to its dimmed brightness of 12.8th magnitude. UGCA168 is a member of small galaxy group centered on NGC2997 at 3 degrees northeast, positioned at about 45 million light years away.
