This is a small pair of lenticular galaxies located in the northern part of the constellation Centaurus. It can be found 2.2 degrees southeast of β Hydrae. The brighter galaxy on the left is NGC 4373, while the smaller galaxy visible 2 arcminutes to the west is IC 3290, with a brightness of around magnitude 12 to 13. This galaxy pair is part of the NGC 4696 galaxy group and is believed to form the outer region of the Centaurus Cluster (Abell 3526), located 4.7 degrees to the ESE.
