In central region of Hydra, NGC3200 has been positioned at about 2 degrees southwest of mu Hydrae. The galaxy has a brightness of 12.8th magnitude and a long axis of a bit larger than 4 arc minutes, has been classified in barred galaxy although this image cannot show you detailed structures.
