This image shows you a small reflection nebula in 5 degrees northeast of eastern star of Orion's belt, Altanik.
The nebula, positioned at a bit lower part in center, has a round shape around an 8.4th magnitude star with a diameter of about 15 arc minutes.
The vdB62 is brightened by reflecting this star's light.
Actually the nebula is only small southern region of a vast dark nebula (LDN1621-1622) with a span of over 40 arc minutes.
The dark nebula is lying in northern part of the Barnard's Loop seen in lower right hand side of the image, vast dark nebulae have distributed in outskirts.
This image has been cropped with an equivalent focal length of 700mm.
