This is a photograph capturing two faint irregular galaxies located a little over 2 degrees northwest of β Canum Venaticorum. The galaxy visible in the upper right is UGC7577, while UGC7608 can be seen about 20 arcminutes southeast of it. Due to their low surface brightness, neither has been assigned an NGC number. Their major axes measure approximately 3 to 4 arcminutes, and UGC7608 is classified as a dwarf irregular galaxy. UGC7608 is approximately 26 million light-years away from the Milky Way and belong to the Canes Venatici II Galaxy Group.
