This is an emission nebula located in the central part of the constellation Vulpecula, found 4.2 degrees southeast of Albireo in Cygnus. It has a roughly circular shape with an apparent diameter of about 5 arc minutes, and it can be seen that red nebulae emitting Hα light are interwoven with dark nebulae. The distance to Sh2-90 is estimated to be around 7,800 light-years.
