This image shows you a round reddish nebula of Sh2-302, called as "Snowman Nebula", positioned near a boundary between Puppis and Canis Major.
The nebula has a visual diameter of 15 arc minutes, and you can see a dark lane in eastern region.
Sh2-302 is about 5800 light years away, considered a part of vast nebulosity of the Gum Nebula occupying lower southern skies in winter.
