Around southern edge of the Ophiuchus, NGC6304 is a medium-sized globular cluster positioned at a border to Scorpius. The cluster has a visual brightness of 8th magnitude and an apparent diameter of about 8 arc minutes. You can find a major globular cluster of M62, positioned at a border between Scorpius and Ophiuchus, at about 3 degrees west of the cluster.
