NGC5068 is a medium-scaled spiral galaxy lying in the southern edge of Virgo. You can trace the galaxy about 2.1 degrees north from gamma Hydrae. The galaxy has a round shape with a diameter of a bit larger than 7 arc minutes. The distance to this galaxy has been estimated as about 22 million light years.
