This is a somewhat larger spiral galaxy lying about 4 degrees southeast of alpha Cvn, Cor Caroli. The galaxy has comparatively dimmed arms wound in north south direction from nucleus, a long axis including the arms exceeds 10 arc minutes. However it's difficult to recognize the structure of arms with telescope aided eyes without considerably large ranged scopes. It's estimated that NGC5033 is about 70 millions light years away.
