NGC5005 is a small galaxy found at 3 degrees southeast of alpha Cvn, Cor Caroli. The galaxy has a shape viewed from a bit slant angle and a long axis of smaller than 6 arc minutes. And you can appreciate the galaxy as a lump of elongated light with 10th magnitude in brightness through a medium ranged telescope. Although this image shows unclear spiral structures, you can detect a bright nucleus.
