NGC3877 is a medium-scaled spiral galaxy positioned at 17 arc minutes south of χ-Uma that is glittering at the upper edge of this image. The galaxy has an elongated shape stretched in NE-SW direction with a length of a bit smaller than 6 arc minutes; we can detect a light of central bulge through scopes. NGC3877 is belonging to a closer galaxy group with surrounding galaxies, and has been estimated as about 50 million light years away.
