NGC3585 is a medium-scaled galaxy in central region of Hydra. You can find the galaxy out by tracing 4 degrees south from beta Crateris. The galaxy has a feature of lenticular with a brightness of 11th magnitude, is forming a small-scaled galaxy group with surrounding galaxies. The distance from us has been estimated about 70 millions light years.
