NGC3249 is a medium-sized spiral galaxy located 1.8 degrees ENE of βLMi. It has a major-axis diameter of just under 4 arcminutes and an apparent magnitude of about 12. The galaxy lies at a distance of approximately 98 million light-years and belongs to the Leo II Galaxy Group.
