A medium sized spiral galaxy at the tip of a hind leg of Big Bear (Ursa Major) is NGC3198. The galaxy has an apparent figure of typical tilted view, and a long axis of a bit shorter than 9 arc minutes. You can detect only dimmed elongated light through scopes because the galaxy has a visual brightness of about 11th magnitude and dimmer arms.
