NGC3310 is a spiral galaxy positioned about 4.3 degrees SW of beta UMa. The galaxy is a face-on and has a size of 3 arc minutes, and the galaxy has a very dimmed asymmetrical arms wound up. It's one of characteristics that the galaxy has large gap of brightness between its nucleus and arms, our eyes aided with larger scopes can detect only the nucleus.
