A spiral galaxy in northeast edge of Eridanus is NGC1637. You can find it out about 1 degree west from mu Eri. The galaxy has a round shape with its diameter of 4 arc minutes, naked eyes can detect its dimmed light with aid of medium ranged telescope. The galaxy has a dark lane in northern part, your eyes will be able to see the galaxy's uneven light.
