LBN1023 is a compact reflection nebula positioned at only 40 arc minutes southwest of an open cluster of M50 in southern region of the Monoceros. The nebula has a size of only 3 arc minutes, we can take pictures of it fairly clearly. It has only ID of the Lynd's catalogue, although the nebula is little known, unexpectedly has many opportunities for photographing with M50.
