This image shows you the flow of Milky Way around Gemini in the zenith to Cassiopeia in northern skies. The Perseus is positioned in the center, the California nebula can be seen south of the constellation. You can recognize that a vast dark lane obscure the background of Milky Way from Auriga to Cassiopeia vicinities.
