 The Milky Way in winter is flowing above the Orion started to sink to the western lower skies. A light in lower part is from the Sendai city about 50km away from a location this image taken.
You can see that a vast dark nebula has been spread out around the Auriga in right hand side. Although there is no glitz like the Milky Way in summer, this field includes much inter-stellar gaseous matter.
