This picture shows you a flow of faint milky way in winter crossing heavens. Splendid constellations in winter like the Orion are lining up on the milky way.
The milky way in winter is much fainter than that in summer because that represents the opposite of central region of the Galaxy.
And you can notice the city lights of Kofu, capital of Yamanashi pref. around the lower sky, the light pollution seems getting more and more terrible year by year. How long will I able to appreciate those splendid view of night sky at the location hereafter?
