The comet Holmes in that day has a diameter of over 45 arc minutes, I could detect the comet clearly with naked eyes although had a fairly dimmed coma. We can see the comet with a thin trail of dust stretched from small nucleus in vast coma, looks like a compact comet in larger comet.
