I have observed the comet Holmes in that day with an apparent diameter of a bit larger than 50 arc minutes and a coma brightness of about 4th magnitude. It's getting larger and larger the coma diameter day by day, but dimmer certainly. It's hard to detect outer edge with telescope-aided eyes.
