On this day, comet Tsushinshan-1 was located approximately 6.5 degrees west of ε Virginis, with a large coma of 10th magnitude and a faint, extending tail visible towards the west. It appears dimmer compared to last month, but the development of the bluish-green ion component covering the coma can still be observed.
