On this day, the comet Tsuchinshan 1 was located 5.5 degrees west of εVir, with a large, 8th magnitude coma and a faint tail extending to the west direction confirmed. At this time, the comet's apparent movement was minimal due to its position relative to Earth, and it was situated to the south of the Virgo Cluster. NGC 4596 galaxy is visible 13 arc minutes northward on this day. The comet will slowly begin to move eastward within Virgo and rapidly dim in the coming days.
