On this day, comet 62P Tsuchinshan 1 was located within the body of Leo, approximately 9.6 degrees northeast of Regulus. Similar to the previous observation, an 8th magnitude coma, spreading out in a blue hue, was confirmed. An extremely faint tail extends in the western direction. The comet is currently moving rapidly towards the east, and forecasts suggest that it will brighten up to a maximum magnitude of 7 during the period from January to February 2024.
