On this day, the comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS was positioned in the eastern part of Ophiuchus in the western sky at evening twilight. Compared to last month, it has receded considerably from Earth, and the brightness of its coma is now at 6th magnitude. However, the dust tail extending eastward remains large. It spreads out in a fan shape, and it was observed to reach a length of nearly 4 degrees.
