You can see the comet Machholz captured on New Year day of 2005. The comet is positioned at about 10degrees southwest of the Hyades. I have taken this picture at a coast near a suburb city, strongly influenced by city lights along a national road, I couldn't catch a subtle structures of ion tail. But the ion tail seems fairly widen compared with a picture taken last time (Dec 30, 2004).
