This star field image shows you the constellation of Scorpius with the bright red planet of Mars closing to the Earth. As you know the heart of Scorpion has a bright red star of Antares, alpha Scorpii, meaning of "The rival of Mars (Anti-Ares)".
The Mars approaches Earth every 780 days and every return of Mars occurs at different zodiac constellations. So the closed and glittering Mars (Ares) parallels with Antares (Anti-Ares) only once in 15 years. This picture is a valuable shot captured two well-matched red stars in summer skies.
