This image shows you a small sized edge-on galaxy in 2 degrees northwest of gamma Boo. The galaxy has a brightness of only 14th magnitude or so, but fairly famous one because of its characteristic figure of extraordinary thin and long appearance as "Superthin Galaxy". The galaxy has a length of 5 arc minutes but only 0.4 arc minutes in thickness. We can hardly detect its central bulge, very unique one in edge-on galaxies in all spheres.
