Sh2-247 is a round diffused nebula positioned at the western edge of Gemini near a boundary on Orion. Major reddish nebulae of the Monkey nebula and the Jerry-fish nebula are lying at a degree south and 2.5 degrees northeast respectively; the nebula has many captured opportunities with those major ones. Sh2-247 is comparatively minor one due to its smaller diameter of about 8 arc minutes. This image shows us no striking inner structures with ridiculous impression.
