Sh2-188 is a small-scaled diffused nebula lying about 3 degrees south of δ Cas. The nebula looks like a reddish diffused nebula but has a shape of hemisphere. It's considered that the nebula is a supernova remnant and has a catalogue number of planetary nebula. We are needed a fairly large ranged telescope to capture the nebula because of its small size of about 9 arc minutes.
