This is a faint Hα emission nebula and a reflection nebula located approximately 4.5 degrees north of γ Cassiopeiae. The faint, red Hα emission nebula situated upper part of the frame is known as Sh2-181 and has a size of about 15 arc minutes. Its elongated shape in the north-south direction can be barely discerned. About 26 arc minutes south of Sh2-181, there is a smaller reflection nebula, Sh2-182, with a size of approximately 2 arc minutes. In the upper left corner of the frame, in the northeast part of Sh2-181, you can detect an even fainter Hα region extending.
