This image shows you a small-diffused nebula of Sh2-142 in southeast edge of Cepheus. The nebula has a span of about 30 arc minutes, one of Hα nebulae bathed in autumnal Milky Way. You can detect complicated structures of dark nebulae in the image.
You can find five even smaller nebulae paralleling at 1.0 to 1.5 degrees ENE of Sh2-142. An easternmost one of Sh2-153 has a 5 arc minutes-sized round shape.
