The planetary nebula NGC 6905 is located in the northwestern corner of Delphinus. To find it, trace 5.8 degrees northwest from the northern αDel that forms the diamond shape of Delphinus. This planetary nebula has a rugby ball-like shape with a long diameter of about 70 arc seconds, and its central star is a 15.7th magnitude white dwarf. Due to its color, the nebula has the nickname "Blue Flash Nebula". The brightness within the nebula is uneven, and the northern and southern tips are faint. In areas with light pollution, these faint parts are hard to see, leaving only the bright rectangular central region visible. Although there is a significant margin of error, the distance to this nebula is estimated to be 7,500 light-years, with its actual size being 2.6 by 1.3 light-years.
