This is an image capturing a pair of tiny galaxies lurking approximately 6 degrees northwest of νDra near the head of Draco. In the center of the image, NGC6286 stands out as an edge-on spiral galaxy with a peculiar shape. Its interaction with NGC6285, positioned just northwest, is evident from the faint tongue-like structure extending southeastward due to tidal distortion. These interacting galaxies are located at a distance of approximately 250 million light-years from the Milky Way.
