This image captures a small galaxy group lurking in the central part of the constellation Hercules, located about 4.8 degrees south of the ε Herculis. The most prominent object in the image is NGC 6269, an elliptical galaxy with a diameter slightly over 2 arc minutes and a brightness of 12th magnitude. Its distance is estimated to be around 470 million light-years, and scattered around it are numerous compact member galaxies.
