NGC5986 is a medium-sized globular cluster positioned in lower southern summer sky just west of the Milky Way. The region is equivalent to the throat of wolf. The cluster has a visual diameter of 10 arc minutes and a brightness of 7th magnitude, and has fairly sparse stellar density, can be seen individual stars near the central region of the cluster.
